Sunday Sketch

Operation Write Home's Sunday Sketch Challenge #177 looks like this:
Here is my take:
I used a Kraftin' Kimmie rubber stamp called Aphrodite. I used Copic markers to color this lovely image.

The sentiment reads: Do all things with love

I added three little sparkly hearts to accent and coordinate with the sketch.
Kraftin' Kimmie has a Krafty Guest Contest right now. So, I am going to enter this creation as well.

On a sad note, I had to say good-bye to a beautiful person in my life these past few days. My husband's grandmother, Ruth...a.k.a Grammy passed. She was 94 years old!!! Grammy's heart was made of pure gold. Not only was she a model of the perfect homemaker and wife but she also took care of my daughter, Riley when she was little! I took this picture this past Christmas and you can just see the love and admiration they shared with each other. Grammy will definitely be missed, but she will forever more live in our memories.

Have a great Sunday, my friends!

  1. So sorry for your loss. Ruth must have been a wonderful person to know. Great job on your coloring.

  2. Beautiful card and wonderful tribute to your Grammy-- so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family.

  3. Those heart sparkles make the whole card! Love it! I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP Grammy.

  4. Oh, I'm so sorry about Grammy and hope that memories of happier days, like the photo you shared, help you all though this sad time. As for your wonderful card, the image is so sweet, the colors are beautiful, and the coloring is fabulous!

  5. So sorry to you and your family on your loss. Grammys have such special places in our hearts. You card is so special, love the playful image, says fun love!

  6. How blessed you are were to have "Grammy" with you for so long. I'm so sorry for your loss. You made a lovely card, with your usual fabulous coloring and great paper choices. I like your take on the sketch!
