Thank You!

It's Tuesday!
Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week is Give Thanks!
You can create any kind of "thank you" card or project.
I really wanted to use a different Sassy Cheryl image for this project, but my printer was not cooperating.
So, I decided to use Sassy Cheryl's rubber stamp--True Friendship.
You can purchase this adorable image as a digital stamp, too!
Here is my creation:

The paper comes from  American Crafts.
The sentiment comes from a clear stamp from Hero Arts.
I just love Sally...honestly, I just love coloring Cheryl's images!
Oh, and the image that wouldn't print...don't worry...I got the printer working and I am going to use that one for the upcoming Anything Goes challenge next week!
Now, click here to check out the amazing Sassy Gal's creations!
They are so talented!!
Have a great Tuesday, my friends!

Happy Birthday, Haden!

Of course, I made a card for him.
I used this cute little Sassy Cheryl's image called: Birthday Balloon Boy
I purchased this image at Squigglefly.
Here is my creation:
And I made this one, too!

I think he liked it...but then again...he is 14 years old!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great Sunday, my friends!

Get Your Spook On!

It's getting closer and closer to Halloween!
Although I am not a fan of this holiday and I will tell you why...
Stuffing 5 kids into costumes and then allowing them to consume tons of sugar is not exactly ideal!
Plus, even as a small child, I was always frightened of hayrides where masked teenagers jump out of the woods with chainsaws. And  grown adults scare the bejesus out of you as you try to find your way through a corn maze.
Then there was the one time, on Halloween night, I ran right smack into a tree and broke my nose. Knocked myself out cold! The next day, I had two black and blue racoon eyes and looked like a zombie for weeks!
See? Me like Halloween...not so much.
But Sassy Cheryl's newest challenge is Get Your Spook On.
It's cute and not so spooky!
Here is my creation:

I made 5 of these cards to send to my adopted soldiers this past weekend.

They probably won't receive the cards until after Halloween but hopefully it will make them smile.

Creepy Cute

Creepy Cute?!
Is there really such a thing as creepy cute?
Tiddly Inks newest challenge #120 is just that...Creepy Cute.
So...for this challenge, I colored up the digital image titled Vamp Me.
Here is my creation:

The paper is from My Mind's Eye~Wicked.
I colored in the image using Copic markers.
Skin-E000,00,11
Vampire-E21,25,27
Victim-E53,47
Other-R35,37,C3

The victim's hair (get it...victim?!) was so much fun to color!
I try to color at least one image before bed each night now that school is back in full swing.
This was last night's coloring session.
I used a circle die cut and added a few red dots to embellish the card.
I added the computer generated sentiment: Love bites...
Does anybody remember the CBS TV show called Moonlight with Alex O' Loughlin?
It was my all time favorite vampire series. This image reminds me of the couple--
Mick St. John and Beth Turner.
I was obsessed with this show!!!
He was the vampire and she was the human in love with each other. Sigh!
This Tiddly Inks image is an all time favorite of mine!!!
Anyways, thanks for stopping by!

Sassy Cheryl's Dies and Punches Challenge

Howdy, friends!
Did you all have fun blog hopping?
I sure did.
I hope your week is going well!
I am not one to complain...in fact, I am usually the one who finds the positive.
But let me just tell you how I am struggling with Physics class.
Arrrghhh! I can't find anything positive! My cosines have negative answers!
Anyways, this week's new challenge at Sassy Cheryl's is Punches and/or dies.
Here is my creation:
This is a Kraftin' Kimmie set from Cheryl Alger called Best Fur-iends
The image is a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e! To the 24th power!
And I really love the sentiment: Having a ruff day?
It should say: Having a ruff semester?
I colored in this pair using Copic markers and chalked in the clouds.
The little scalloped circles comes from my Friskars border punch.
Coloring in this image really did bring a smile to my face. I should be sending this card to myself. However, this one has been mailed to my sister.
Okay...click here to check out the other fabby Sassy gals projects!
Have a great Tuesday!

Birthday Wishes.

Just another Tiddly Inks creation for the Anything Goes Challenge.
For my birthday card, I colored up the sweet digi image Anna Belle Birthday Wishes.
I made this card for a colleague.
Here is my creation:
Doesn't that chocolate cake look delicious?!
Little Anna Belle is colored in using Copic markers in the following colors:
Skin: E000,00,11
Hair: E53, 47
Dress: R35,37, C3

The paper comes from American Crafts. I found this name brand at Target! I love polka-dots and stripes together!
The Happy Birthday comes from a clear stamp that I found in a dollar bin.
It sure is used a lot.
I am submitting this to Challenges 4 Everybody

One More Birthday

I decided to submit one more birthday creation for the Kraftin' Kimmie Birthday challenge in an attempt to become a Krafty Girl! I wish I could win the lottery just so I could purchase every Kraftin' Kimmie stamp!
Thankfully, my migraine that made an unwanted appearance today subsided and allowed me to color for a while this evening.
Besides you can never have too many birthday cards in your stash. And it seems within the last two weeks, I have used quite a few of them!
For this challenge, I colored up an image from the Holiday Lulu and Libby rubber stamp set.
Here is my creation:
The sentiment reads: You've got three wishes!
It comes from the Kraftin' Kimmie Three Wishes stamp set.

Of course, I used my Copic markers to color in the image.
I used the following colors:
Hair: E53,47
Skin: E000,00,11
Other: R35, C3, E43,Y13,18,E31
The silver star is a brad from Recollections.
There you have it!
Now, I am off to get ready for the work week! Teaching 12th grade is a lot more than I thought it was going to be! Physics class is a killer!
Have a great Sunday, my friends!

Time Flies

Hey Everyone,
Here is a card I made for the school secretary today.
I just received this new rubber stamp from Stamping Bella in the mailbox yesterday and I couldn't wait to color her up !
This is the newly released Senior-ita Delores by Christine Grov.
I just love all these new stamps. Confession: I bought them all!
All I can say for myself is that I can't help it!
Here is my creation:

I used a Happy Birthday sentiment on the front of the card but
the sentiment on the inside read: The bad news is time flies, the good news is you're the pilot. That sentiment accompanies the rubber stamp.
By the way, the school secretary loved it and it is displayed on her desk!

WCMD Challenge #4: It's Kraftin' Kimmie's Birthday!

I love birthdays!
Don't you?
And...I love Kraftin' Kimmie!
Put those two together and it's a win-win!!
It is Kraftin' Kimmie's birthday and along with celebrating World Cardmaking Day...Kraftin' Kimmie is celebrating their own birthday!
It is also a chance to become a Krafty Girl.
Honestly, if I said I would give up chocolate to be a Krafty Girl...do you think that is being too dramatic?
Nope. Me neither.
For this challenge, I stamped up an adorable image from Cheryl' Alger's Best Fur-iends stamp set.
Here is my creation:
The image is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic paper. The paper comes from My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is from a clear stamp set from Hero Arts.
The clouds are colored in with blue chalk.
I added a yellow button and some orange twine.

I made this birthday card specifically for this challenge but I am going to give it to my youngest son, Alex, who turns 8 years old this week!
It is hard to believe that this little booger is not a baby anymore.
Gosh...I love this kid.

Okay...so here is my submission to Kraftin' Kimmie's Birthday challenge and my attempt to throw my name into the ring for a chance to become a Krafty Girl.
My chances are slim to none but I always believe that you never know until you try. Plus, disappointment and rejection build better character. Or at least that's what I tell my students! Ha!
So here goes nothing...and a whole lot of wishful thinking...

Bugaboo~ Anything Goes Challenge

For this challenge, I colored up this great new for October digital image called: JJ Coffee to Go.
First, let me start of by saying I LOVE COFFEE!
I can not function without it.
Literally...if I don't  consume a pot of coffee in the morning I will suffer from a paralyzing migraine for the next two days! Debilitating?
Addiction?
Yes, I know it is.
It is totally bad for me.
But like any addiction...I can not give it up.
With that being said...I made this card to mail to my sister. She just moved in to a new house and she wants mail! Ha! I guess she means besides the bills in the mailbox. So, I made this card to mail out to her later this afternoon.
I love this Bugaboo image and would like to enter into the newest challenge~ Anything Goes.

Oh. Yeah. And I made this one, too.
Coffee.
I told ya.
Addicted.

Tiddly Inks~Anything Goes

For this challenge, I couldn't decide what to color up. So, I actually made two different creations. Plus, it was World Cardmaking Day so I thought why not?
For the first card, I colored up this sweet image called: Wryn-New Wings.
My favorite Aunt spent this past week in the hospital so I made this with her in mind. I am going to mail this card out to her later this afternoon.

I hope that it makes her feel better!

The second card I made using a cute little snowman that I had buried in my coloring pile for a long while. I figured with winter just around the corner it was okay to start thinking about snow...even though I do NOT want too!
Here is Inky Critters:
So, there are my two Tiddly Ink creations I made on World Cardmaking day!
I just love that there is actually a day dedicated to making cards!
Have a great day, my friends!

Mo Manning...H is for...

Mo Manning's current challenge # 204 is H is for...HEART!
For this challenge I decided to color up the newly released image called: Love Signs
Anytime I find a stamping image that uses the I Love You sign using sign language, I never hesitate to purchase it.
My youngest son, Alex was born deaf from a recessive-linked gene called Conexin-26. He is fortunate enough to utilize bi-lateral cochlear implants and he is now a soon-to-be 8 year old talking in complete sentences. This may not seem like such a big deal but there was a time when I believed he would never learn to speak. At 21 months old, I started right away teaching Alex the basic signs of sign language and to this day we still use the "I Love You" sign all the time!
So here is my creation for this week's challenge at D2P:
I loved coloring this image in using my Copic markers.
The paper has an ombre look to it and comes from a paper pad from American Crafts.
The sentiment reads: I Love You and it is stamped using a wooden rubber stamp and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Things with Wings

The Squirrel and The Fox's current challenge is Things with Wings.
Here is my creation using Some Odd Girl's Spunky Sprite:

Anything Goes with Sassy!

This week's challenge  at Sassy Cheryl's is Anything Goes!
My kind of challenge because...Anything Goes!
I have been wanting to color up this Sassy Cheryl image for a while now. Yes, I'll admit...I am addicted to digi stamps and so I buy them, print them, and add them to the to be colored pile. And sometimes, I go crazy purchasing stamps that  an image will end up on the bottom of my to be colored pile! I know...I know...I have no excuse for myself.
So, for this challenge, I colored up Snail Mail Max.
Here is my creation:
There are so many reasons why I adore this image. But mostly it is so perfect to make for and send to soldiers currently deployed.
Soldiers' Angels is an awesome organization that I volunteer with as part of the Letter Writing Team (LWT).
Each Sunday, I receive three soldiers names and addresses to write a letter to. I simply say thank you.
I make cards for my own fun and enjoyment and then I send them off to hopefully, put a smile on someone's face and brighten their day.
It makes me feel good and it keeps my cardmaking stash at a reasonable number.
Now, click here to view all the Sassy Ladies' Anything Goes creations.
Oh yeah! There is going to be a blog hop coming soon, too!
