Sassy Cheryl Mid- Challenge

Hey ya, friends!
Here is a little inspiration and a reminder that there is a Die Cuts and/or Punches challenge still going on over at Sassy Cheryl's.
You still have time to play along.
So, I read a blog...
(I wish I could remember which one so I could give credit to that person)
And in this blog, the individual said that she makes a Christmas/Holiday card at least one per month.
I thought that this was a great idea!
And I have decided to do the same.
By the time November rolls around, I am crafting and coloring like crazy to get holiday cards made.
Most of the time, I get fed up with all the other chaotic occurrings happening at such a busy time and quit all together.
Why I am telling you all this?
Well, because I made my Christmas card for the month of February.
Two down...
Here is my creation using a Cheryl Alger stamp from the Kraftin' Kimmie set Holiday Lulu and Libby.

And in sticking with the die cuts and/or punches theme I used a circle punch to add some circles to the design layout.
Remember, you still have time to create and submit your creation.
Hope to it!
Happy Tuesday, my friends!

Kraftin' Kimmie-Spring Colors

It is a new challenge this week at Kraftin' Kimmie's and the new challenge is Spring Colors.
I don't know about you but I sure am ready for S-P-R-I-N-G!
Warm, sunny yellow and bright blue skies.
Ahhhh!
For this challenge, I colored up Anne of Green Gables.
Here is my creation:
As you can see, those are the spring colors I used...yellow and blue.
And gorgeous blue skies.
Anne was one of the very first Kraftin' Kimmie stamps I ever purchased.
Still to this day, I watch the movie series.
Love it!
The sentiment that comes with this stamp is a quote from L.M. Montgomery.
I inked it on the inside of the card.
It reads:
True friends are always together in spirit.
There you have it...my challenge submission for Spring Colors.
Have a great day, my friends!

Kraftin' Kimmie ~ Anything Goes

Challenge #217 at Kraftin' Kimmie is Anything Goes! My favorite kind of challenge! For this challenge, I picked out Miss Information to color up and create with. Here is my creation:
Perfect for a teacher and this image was so quick to color up. The thing I like about the Kraftin' Kimmie sets is that the sentiments are so great! I decorated the inside of the card too and used the corresponding sentiment that reads: You make the grade.
Of course, with all these snow days...nobody is really making the grade. At this rate, we will be going to school through the month of June!
It is suppose to warm up as the week progresses. Thank goodness!  No more snow days!

Tiddly Inks

Tiddly Inks' newest challenge is fun with primary colors specifically red, blue, and yellow.
My creation is using the newly released digi called: Chloe and her Peeps.
Here is my creation:
The sentiment corresponds and it reads: Hi Ya Chicka!
I colored Chloe in using Copic markers and her hair was challenging to color. I'm not use to coloring that type of hairstyle. I'll have to keep practicing.
Well, it is snowing. Again! And it is another day off from school! At this point, I will be going to school all of June!
Stay safe, if you must be out and about!
And since I had the whole day off, I colored up Ellie says Hi, too. My sister requested a thank you card so this will be going to her.

Sassy Cheryl's

It's Tuesday!
And...
It's snowing....AGAIN!
I don't know about you...BUT I am so ready for warm air and sunshine.
This week, the challenge theme is to use die cuts and/or punches.
Here is my creation using: A Letter Sent with Love
I don't own many punches.
Every once in a while, I use my Friskars Hexagon punch.
I can't even remember why I purchased this punch but I dusted it off for this challenge creation.
Now, remember Sassy Cheryl's challenges will run for two weeks and as long as you use a SC image you can enter as many times as you want to increase your chances of winning!
Click here to check out the other Sassy Gal's creations and the link up your project as well.
As always, HAPPY TUESDAY, my friends!

Wonderful Wednesday!

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!
It use to be Friday was a favorite day of mine,  but now I look forward to Kraftin' Kimmie's Wonderful Wednesday!
It is like Show and Tell day!
For this week's Wonderful Wednesday creation I decided to color up Aphrodite.
Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation.
Here is my creation:
This Kraftin' Kimmie stamp set is so fun to color.
The sentiment reads: Do all things with love!
Well, it is Wednesday!
Hump day!
It is suppose to warm up here in our area. I hope. We need to melt some of those snow piles away.
Instead it is sleeting out and I am now operating on a 2 hour delay.
Ugh!
I am already looking forward to the weekend!
Have a great Wednesday, my friends!

Gosh, I am addicted to Kraftin' Kimmie stamps!
And this rubber stamp set is so fun to create with.
Happy Wednesday, my friends!

Kraftin' Kimmie UNConventional Valentine's

The newest challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie is UNconventional Valentine's. I don't usually do a whole lot to celebrate this day. But I did manage to make a few cards to send out this week. The flu has hit our house and it has been miserable to say the least. But in between taking care of everyone else and myself, I found some time to color and create.
Here is my Kraftin' Kimmie creation using Ever After
So, I wasn't planning on coloring her dress red. I figured that would be a traditional Valentine's color. But then I stepped away from coloring and came back. And I forgot what I was doing and colored it red anyways! Grrr!
The sentiment reads: You had me at hello! It comes from Cheryl Alger's rubber stamp set: Together is Better.

I added a few gold Stickles to her hair and some sequins and hearts to sparkle it up.

I'm not so sure this is totally an unconventional Valentine's card..but I like it just the same.

Happy Monday, my friends!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Is it just me or does it seem that I have had the last 3 Wednesdays off or on a 2 hour delay?
The snow came again!
And here I sit in my pajamas...coloring like a mad woman!
It is Wonderful Wednesday...and that means it is time to share over at Kraftin' Kimmie's!
Two new stamps just arrived in the mail yesterday.
(Yes, I think I have a problem!)
So, this Wednesday I am sharing my newest creation - Raychel.
I made a Valentine's card. Of course, I am not sure who this card will be sent to just yet.
The sentiment reads Hey, Hot Stuff!
It comes from the Kraftin' Kimmie stamp set called: Hey, Hot Stuff!
I drew in the outline and added a few die cut punched hearts.
Perfect! And just in time to celebrate Valentine's Day!
That is my creation for this Wednesday!
Have a great one, my friends!

Tiddly Inks Love is in the Air

A new challenge is happening over at Tiddly Inks.
The theme is: Love is in the Air.
Very appropriate for the month of February.
For this challenge, I colored up the adorable Loving Pixie.
Not only is this pixie perfect for a Valentine but she is on sale for only $1!
Here is my creation:
I colored Pixie in using Copic markers using the following colors:
Skin-E000,00
Hair-E21,E13
Dress-RV52,R35,C1
The sentiment reads: Hugs and Kisses
The paper comes from a 6x6 paper pad from Recollections.
I added Stickles to the wings and a few enamel dots to finish it off.

We are under a winter storm warning here in Pennsylvania. The weather radar is calling for 1-4 inches. In this part of the world, that is not really a significant amount of snow.
Others are saying 9-12 inches.
Regardless, the Emergency Operations center just put out alerts warning of emergency operations.
Strange. Very strange for only 1-4 inches.
Anyways, I best go charge my phone and refill my Copic markers.
You know...just in case tomorrow is a snow day!

Digi Releases SOG

Today there are two new digital images releasing today at Some Odd Girl.
I just love these two new SOG images.
They remind me of the students I just chaperoned at a Snowflake Dance.
First, there is Best Man.

And then you have to include a beauty.
Here is Formal Mae.
Isn't she lovely?
Also, if you have not joined the Some Odd Girl Facebook group...then what are you waiting for???
Head on over to Facebook by clicking here to join us for tons of inspiration, friendship, and just plain fun.
Both of these images are ready to be purchased today!
Thanks for stopping by, my friends.

All About Hearts

Time for a new Sassy Cheryl challenge and this week it is All About Hearts!
Remember, that starting this week, Sassy Cheryl's challenges will run for two weeks!
That's two weeks to get your craft on!
Okay, here is my heartfelt creation:
Lots of hearts!
I used a Cheryl Alger image from a Kraftin' Kimmie Rubber Stamp set. It is called Together is Better.
I colored in this image using Copic markers in the following colors:
Skin-E000,00,11
Hair(Boy) E53,E47
Girl: E53, 57
Outfits: C1,3,5, R05

The sentiment reads: My funny Valentine! It is a stamp set that corresponds to the stamp set.
There is my creation for All About Hearts challenge!

Something New!

Kraftin' Kimmie's Krafty Bowl contest continues with Something New.
For this challenge, I created a birthday card for a co-worker using the new rubber stamp I just received in the mail.
For this creation, I used Marilyn. She is a Moonlight Whispers Annie Rodrigue stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie.
Can you tell that I really like these stamps?
I used Copic markers to color this beauty in using the following colors:
Skin-E000,00,11
Dress-RV52,55
Hair-E53,49
Lips-R37

I fussy cut the image out. The sentiment reads: Fabulous in every way.
I added a few sequins and waaalllaaa!
Thanks for stopping by, my friends!

Something Old

My crafty corner definitely needs weeded out.
So for this Krafty Bowl challenge creation, I am using paper
from a 6x6 paper pad from Recollections.
I buy way too many paper pads.
Sometimes, I purchase a pad of paper just to use one piece.
So, my goal is to use my paper pads by summer.
That is when I am going to do a major over haul in my crafty corner.
Here is my creation using Kraftin' Kimmie rubber stamp image called: Clementine
The sentiment reads: Life's a struggle if you can't juggle.
I kept the card layout clean and simple.
I really like the look.
This card is being submitted into the Krafty Bowl Use Something Old challenge.

You Say It's Your Birthday!

Well, it was my birthday today!!!
And I made this card for my identical twin sister.
Here is my creation:

I used the Kraftin' Kimmie rubber stamp image from Annie Rodrigue called: Judy. It must be retired because I could not find it in the store to link it up.

I colored in this cutie using Copic markers and that is definitely a milkshake that she is drinking.
I am submitting this creation into the Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Bowl contest.
