Operation Write Home Sunday Sketch # 180

Hi Friends,

I know. I am running so late today. Not sure why...just am. But I made it...phew.
Today's Operation Write Home Sketch # 180 looks like this:
And the inspiration comes from the cutest Any Hero drawing:
Told ya it was cute! I love the way "solgers" and "condrey" are spelled like it sounds.
Here is my take:

My daughter has been begging me for months to color this image up. I am not sure exactly what the fascination with mustaches are?!? Anyone? Every time I take her into the craft store we have to buy rubber stamps, paper, and stickers with mustaches.

Loved coloring her hair!
I used the following Copic colors to color Starla:
Skin-E000,00,11, R35
Outfit-YG03,06,09, C1,3,5, BV11,23

The sentiment comes with the digital stamp. It reads: yeah, I am a little fuzzy on the line that puts me over the top...
The paper is from a 6x6 pack from Hampton Art called Berry Blast.

There is OWH Sunday Sketch #180. I am glad I made it this weekend. I was afraid I wasn't going to. Geez.
Have a great Sunday, my friends.

  1. Beautiful card. Your coloring is just spectacular.

    1. Thank you Christy. I liked this sketch. CAS!

  2. Once again, your coloring is awesome sauce! That card is spectacular and the sentiment made me laugh. It's just SO perfect with that image! And I'm with you, btw. I don't understand the mustache thing at all. But you still managed to make it work with the card beautifully. I always look forward to seeing your cards. Have a great week!

  3. She is quite the cutie! I am with you, I don't get the mustache thing either!!

  4. Gorgeous card! Such a cute image and she's colored so beautifully. Love all the colors and the polka dots!

  5. Awesome coloring as always...and you were not late! Great sketch interpretation! tfs!!!
