Make a Splash

Sassy Cheryl's newest challenge is Make a Splash! Water! Friends! Bubbles!
Here is my creation using a rubber stamp image from Best Fur-iends!

This image is adorable! It is colored using Copic markers and I added some  Donna Salazar Glitter Fairy Dust to the water/bubbles. I love this sparkly stuff! I would use it on everything if I could!

 The sentiment reads: Good clean fun!

The little bubble gems are a nice added embellishment! So fun for sure!

The Squirrel and The Fox DT

I am like the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland! I am late...late...late... It seems that the once lazy days of summer have quickly  turned to a wild and chaotic stream of never ending  madness! No joke.

The Squirrel and The Fox's newest challenge is Autumn or Spring.
Here is my creation using Little Miss Muffett's Luna's Bitterfrost Winter Rocks digi stamp.

Luna is colored in using Copic markers. The sentiment reads: Fall Fun!

I added some twine and a few heart gems as well.

I think fall may be my favorite time of the year. This Friday starts football season! Yay!

A.R.T. Anything Goes

A Random Thursday Art Challenge (A.R.T.) # 11 is Anything Goes!  Of course, this is my favorite!
Sooooo, for this creation I used my brand new Stamping Bella rubber stamp that just arrived in the mail today! I have wanted this stamp forever. But I waited for it to go on sale and I used a five dollar gift certificate.
 It is Uptown Girl Emily and Ryan. It is the sweetest image.
Here is my creation:

See! Sweet, right? The card is so clean and simple...the image is fussy cut out. What can I say? I like a nice clean look and I love to fussy cut!!! Ha!
I stamped this image using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Copic paper. The image is colored using Copic markers.

And she definitely looks ready to part-ay! 

I, however, am back to work! Summer vacay is o-v-e-r! I spent all 7 hours yesterday unpacking my new classroom. I have these huge bulletin boards that I have yet to decorate! 

Plus, I have transferred from 7th grade to 12th grade. New building.
New co-workers.
It was an emotional day for me...more so than I anticipated! It can only get better, right?! 

But this image makes me happy!

Send a Smile 4 Kids~DT

Send a Smile 4 Kids new challenge is Animal Cards 4 Kids! The challenge is to create and link any card for a child that has an animal on it. Fun, right?

Here is my creation using Cherry Kisses Whatever from the Classic Cave.

I colored her in using Copic markers and the paper comes from My Mind's Eye. The sentiment simply states: hey. 

I added a black button with some hemp twine. Pretty plain and simple today.

It's Black & White!

It's Tuesday and that means a new challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog. The challenge...if you so choose to accept ( and I hope you do)...is to create using a black and white photo look. One of my favorite Copic techniques is to color monochromatically using the shades of gray. (C1,3,5,7 and R05 for the pop of red on the heart).

Here is my creation:

I colored up the adorable Sally using the digi image called A Letter Sent with Love.
 The Polaroid looking frame is from Recollections. The white flowers are from K&Company. The sentiment and heart comes from the Hero Arts clear rubber stamp set designed for Operation Write Home.

I used this oldie but goodie digi stamp from Sassy Cheryl's Stamps.  She is called Ladybug Magnet Girl. I'm not even sure if she is in the store to link her up. 

The paper is from American Crafts and the sentiment is from a clear rubber stamp that reads: Hooray...

I colored this stamp using Copic markers and then fussy cut her out.

Added a few gems and there is my take on OWH sketch challenge this Sunday. I am off to write some letters to my soliders.
