Let's get to it! Here is the sketch:
I like this sketch!
Here is my take:
For this sketch, I colored up a Saturated Canary image called Sweet Oklahoma.
Of course, I used my beloved Copic markers to color her in.

Tha paper is from My Mind's Eye-Indie Chic Safron.
The sentiment comes from Tiddly Inks. It reads: Hello Sunshine.
I have a package all ready to ship out to OWH. So, I made a Halloween one to add to the mix. I am not a big Halloween person. But I used this image from Sassy Cheryl's.
It's a cute witch...part of the Witches Chores set. Not scary at all. See?

I bet if you kiss that frog it will turn into a prince, too!
Have a great Sunday, my friends!
I love the coloring on Sweet Oklahoma and the three descending gems...very eye catching, great card.
ReplyDeleteThe Halloween card is beautiful, the chevron is a nice touch.
Thank you, Debbie!
DeletePretty cards; Super coloring! I am partial to the Sweet Oklahoma card with the pink palette! Nice touch with the graduated sizes of pearls.
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan!
DeleteNice coloring work on both of these and a nice interpretation of this week's sketch too! I am with you in that I don't typically do Halloween cards but this witch is so cute and I could easily find myself tempted becasue she looks like she would be fun to color.

ReplyDeleteAs always, thank you Carol! :)
DeleteLove the color scheme of your sketch card- and I love how you colored her outfit amd hair-- blowing in the wind. Your Halloween card is so fun- not scary at all! Love the green dots around the image!
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat coloring on the Saturated Canary image, love the colors you used on her. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Melissa! :)
ReplyDeleteThe first card is gorgeously colored, as always. And I love the play on words with sunshine and her putting the umbrella down. I actually enjoy making Halloween cards; when my son was growing up, we were the house in the neighborhood with the haunted trick or treat house and we'd dress up to hand out candy. Your Halloween card is darling!
ReplyDeleteThank you Joann! You sound like my mother...she goes all out for Halloween, too! :)
