Anything Goes with Sassy!

This week's challenge  at Sassy Cheryl's is Anything Goes!
My kind of challenge because...Anything Goes!
I have been wanting to color up this Sassy Cheryl image for a while now. Yes, I'll admit...I am addicted to digi stamps and so I buy them, print them, and add them to the to be colored pile. And sometimes, I go crazy purchasing stamps that  an image will end up on the bottom of my to be colored pile! I know...I know...I have no excuse for myself.
So, for this challenge, I colored up Snail Mail Max.
Here is my creation:
There are so many reasons why I adore this image. But mostly it is so perfect to make for and send to soldiers currently deployed.
Soldiers' Angels is an awesome organization that I volunteer with as part of the Letter Writing Team (LWT).
Each Sunday, I receive three soldiers names and addresses to write a letter to. I simply say thank you.
I make cards for my own fun and enjoyment and then I send them off to hopefully, put a smile on someone's face and brighten their day.
It makes me feel good and it keeps my cardmaking stash at a reasonable number.

Oh yeah! There is going to be a blog hop coming soon, too!

Mo Manning ~For the Boys

Mo Manning's current challenge is For the Boys.
I chose to color up the image called: Bronte and Louis
Here is my creation:
I used Copic markers to color in this sweet chocolate chip image. The sentiment reads:  BFF. It comes from a wooden rubber stamp.
I chose to use this image because I don't share my cookies with just anybody, you know!
However, I would share anything with my BFF. And... it is obvious to me that Louis and Bronte are definitely best friends forever! Just look at Bronte's pink tongue licking Louis' cookie.
Too cute!
The paper comes from my stash. I love pairing stripes and polka-dots together!
So, there is my creation For the Boys!
Happy Sunday, my friends!

Batty For You!

Just stopping in real quick to showcase a card I made this week  using Tiddly Ink's digital image Batty for You!

Here is my creation:

I kept the card layout clean and simple. The image is colored using Copic markers and the paper comes from My Mind's Eye called Wicked. The sentiment reads: Batty 'bout ya!
I'll be guest designing for Tiddly Inks in the month of November...but you know I never pass up the chance to color a Tiddly's Ink's image.
Tomorrow is going to be one of many  marathon days. Work starts at 7 AM and it won't end till after 11PM. It's homecoming so that means football game and chaperoning the dance following the big rivalry.
So, I'll catch you all on Saturday!
Have a Happy Friday, my friends!

Sassy Cheryl's ~School Days

This week's newest Sassy Cheryl's challenge is School Days!
For this week's challenge, I colored up this very beautiful digital stamp called: Make the Grade
Here is my creation:

I colored this image in using Copic markers. I chalked in the blue clouds and added a gem stone to the flower. The paper is from My Mind's Eye and the flower is from my stash. I believe they are from K&Collections. I didn't add a sentiment because after I sat back, I felt that the picture spoke for itself.

Every week I am in awe of those Sassy Gals and their amazing DT creations. You can click here to view their creations.

Here is my creation using Doodle Pantry's image called: Cherry Nice Mice:
I used my Copic markers to color in this digi set and added a few orange gems. The paper is from My Mind's Eye. The orange in the bottom corner is a 3D embellishment from Recollections.
The sentiment reads: Orange you so thoughtful...
